Neil Shah is an award-winning narrator who has recorded close to 250 fiction and non-fiction titles, as well as numerous long-form journalism articles.

As an Indian-American narrator, he is often called upon to record books with both Indian and American (and on occasion, Middle-Eastern) themes and characters, spanning across almost every genre, and employing a versatile array of accents and voices.

As a classically-trained actor, with an MFA from the University of San Diego/Old Globe Actor Training Program, he has appeared Off-Broadway and on regional stages, as well as in film and television.

AudioFile Magazine has commended him for “an absolutely mesmerizing listening experience” and as “an outstanding narrator who adds a healthy dose of personality to each of the characters.”

He records from his home studio in Oregon's Wine Country.
